The 1989 GT40P head is according to ford 100% identical to the 1987, and it's simply the Casting man's experience with the mold. Even I can see the original Mold Bung hasn't been messed with or modified in any way and I'm a trillion miles away. WebMay 10, 2005 · I dont know about 300 to the wheels, but I had 231 with 7cyl on unported gt40 (non-P) heads. Got them ported by Thumper, also got a explorer intake ported by Tmoss. I am sticking with the TFS1 cam. Should be at around 10.5-11:1 comp. oh and going bigger on the bottle so 175+ of n2o might make up for some N/A power.
