The details of his life are obscure and undocumented because none of his work has been preserved. Anaximenes: Self is like an air, without its soul which makes the person live, self will not exist. WebbFrom Husserl’s standpoint, the division between the “mind” and the “body” is a product of confused thinking. The simple fact is, we experience our self as a unity in which the mental and physical are seamlessly woven together. This idea of the self as a unity thus fully rejects the dualist ideas of Plato and Descartes.
