WebPurpose: To enhance understanding of academic stress in the lives of high-achieving students enrolled in college-preparatory high schools. The three main goals of this study were to explore: 1) the effects of stress, 2) student coping behaviors and support network, and 3) sources of stress in these high-achieving environments.
