WebJun 2, 2024 · According to youtube Auto home is supposed to test the parameters of the bed as in find a corner and go a little off the bed to the x and y. Now what my printer likes to do is auto home where ever it wants to. Since there is no convention you … WebJun 14, 2016 · The way the z axis homes is this: It's driven down until it hits the end stop, goes then just pass it, then comes up, at which point you should be able to get a "slight grab" upon a piece of paper The trick is to place the end stop in the right place, so that a light touch is done on the print bed and it comes up to be the right height for a grab.

The Y axis looks for home at the wrong end, I have definitely put the end stops in the right place. 2. If it moves in the correct direction - you most likely have it set to home to MAX instead of home to MIN. If it moves in the reverse direction - change the motor direction.
